Located in a prime spot overlooking Heathrow Airport’s runways, the No1 Lounge & Clubrooms is a large, light-filled space with dramatic window frontage and multiple defined zones. The client envisioned a premium, tranquil environment, and lighting played a critical role in achieving this. To enhance the ambience and reinforce the connection to the time of day, faux skylights were introduced into the Orangery, carefully programmed using Casambi. This allowed for dynamic, responsive lighting scenes that evolve from day to night. With varying daylight levels across different areas, Casambi enabled Akarui to maintain a delicate balance between bright and shaded zones, while delivering a luxurious and refined atmosphere befitting the Clubrooms’ premium offer.
