Last week, we officially kicked off our 2026 event series in spectacular fashion. Alongside our long-standing partners at Lumenpulse, we transformed an architectural gem into a living laboratory for the future of light. The evening was a captivating blend of innovation, inspiration, and networking, creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere for a varied community of industry professionals.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the iconic BDP building, the evening was designed to be as immersive as it was educational. For this special occasion, the building was specially lit to showcase the power of precision optics—this time including the downstairs Hub—providing a dramatic, real-world canvas for our guests.

The evening’s narrative centred on a significant breakthrough: Opticolor+. For those of us in the industry, the search for a “do-it-all” luminaire has often felt like chasing a shadow. However, Opticolor+ changes the conversation by blending three distinct capabilities into one seamless solution:

• Colour-changing for vibrant, high-fidelity RGBW palettes.

• Tunable white for human-centric environments and CCT control.

Regional Sales Director Morris Costello, alongside Atrium Business Development Director Jeremy Fielding, delivered a detailed presentation on the engineering principles underpinning Opticolor+, followed by immersive live demonstrations.

Following the technical presentations, guests had the unique opportunity to engage with the luminaires and witness the versatility of Opticolor+ firsthand. As they interacted with the technology and observed its impact on the BDP architecture, the atmosphere was electric.
