Gravity Design Associates have developed a vibrant and sophisticated scheme for the HQ; incorporating a warm but modern atmosphere across the office space, from the breakout and communal areas to the workspaces and private meeting rooms. The thoughtful design really prioritises the comfort and flexibility of the Phillips 66 team, ensuring that the physical environment supports both collaborative energy and individual focus. Every corner of the floor plan has been meticulously planned to foster a sense of community while maintaining the high-end aesthetic expected of a global leader in the energy sector.
The lighting scheme intentionally enhances the development, brightening and revealing the true colours used in the space. With a carefully curated range of task and ambient lighting, we created an atmosphere conducive to focus and productivity; we used a range of top-quality luminaires to ensure a glare-free and efficient workspace. By balancing natural light with technical precision, the design reduces eye strain and improves the overall well-being of the staff. We incorporated a broad range of our specialist lighting for this space, featuring architectural masterpieces like Vibia’s Rhythm and Infrastructure Episode 2 by Flos, along with the high-performance Rylo Pro, Lynar, Atos LYN 45A, and Kalis 35 by Intra Lighting.
To craft an immersive boutique atmosphere, we paired high-performance luminaires with an intelligent DALI control system to provide seamless automation and energy efficiency. By prioritising user comfort and functionality, the lighting levels transition automatically to suit the time of day, enhancing the architectural aesthetic and supporting the circadian rhythms of the workforce.
