With four regional offices and over 120 team members, this international freight forwarding company required a new, flagship headquarter. Designed by Silva Architecture, the development provides a modern, sustainable workspace for sea freight, warehousing, haulage, and national distribution services. By seamlessly blending design, technology, and efficiency, the hub creates a professional environment with a memorable “wow” factor.
For this project, we curated a refined lighting scheme for the directors’ suites and high-performance lighting for the boardroom. By extending this thoughtful design into the kitchens and breakout areas, we created a cohesive, sophisticated workspace that feels as good as it looks.
Drawing the eye to key focus areas, we used a range of powerful statement pieces including, Flos’s Superline, Intra Lighting’s Dawn S and Vibia’s Plus Minus and Skan. LEDs have been seamlessly integrated with the joinery throughout the space to achieve a clean, architectural finish, while maintaining optimal visual comfort and a glare free environment.
To ensure total versatility, we integrated Casambi lighting control systems throughout the workspace. This allows users to effortlessly transition lighting levels to suit any task at hand, whether it’s high-focus work, client presentations, or collaborative meetings. To maximise sustainability, we incorporated daylight sensors and presence detectors that automatically optimise energy efficiency by responding to natural light levels and room occupancy.
