The theme of the “Mile” project is to reduce the size of the object while obtaining the best possible optical performance. This work regarded multiple aspects: minimisation, high performance, and the perceptual quality of a “perfect object”, where all outdoor surfaces are on the same plane. The final result was achieved through hard work to optimise the unit parts.

Mile Wall is a complete family of wall-mounted lighting units with a rigorous, minimal design and LED light source. Mile features a very subtle and compact profile so as not to impact the environment. The collection offers a complete programme of optics for complex projects, including a deep asymmetric emission for lighting paths or open spaces; an indirect asymmetric version for ceilings, corridors or galleries; and a special grazing light effect to reveal volumes and vertical surfaces.
