The theme of the “Mile” project is to reduce the size of the object while obtaining the best possible optical performance. This work regarded multiple aspects: minimization, high performance, and the perceptual quality of a “perfect object”, where all outdoor surfaces are on the same plane. The final result was achieved through hard work to optimize the unit’s parts.

Mile Bollard is characterized by a light, rigid frame that echoes the pure design of the wall version, with a base to raise it off the ground and an underlying shutter to create the appearance that unit is “floating” above the floor. The exclusive optic group, available in single and double version, makes it possible to play with a deep asymmetric emission ideal to light up wide areas and paths.
