Luce Orizzontale is a sculptural lamp designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Flos that plays with the fascinating effect of light reflection from cast glass elements. The modular, sculpture-like luminaire, which can be combined in configurations of 8, 10 or 12 cast glass cylinders, forms structures of different lengths that are ideal to illuminate rectangular tables in private homes, conference rooms or, when installed in parallel rows, large public spaces.
Luce Orizzontale has the presence of a high-end artisan product, comparable to a bespoke piece: each cylinder and made by hand; by pouring the glass into a mould, the glassmaker creates patterns and signs that make each piece unique.
