Gustave is Vincent Van Duysen’s latest design for Flos, which comes after his bestseller Oblique. Specifically conceived for the hospitality business, Gustave emits a 360 degrees beam of light that falls “obliquely” onto the lit surface, forming a ring with a shady centre. This versatile table lamp is rechargeable, waterproof and suitable for in and outdoors use and is offered in 7 different colour finishes, to match all types of spaces and interior design styles: a real passepartout. The name Gustave was, in fact, inspired by the famous concierge of Wes Anderson’s masterpiece the Grand Budapest Hotel, one of the designer’s favourite films.
